Fall Math Talks

I haven’t been consistent with posting the math talks we do almost every week on the blog, so herethey are so far. In future, they will be included as part of the weekly updates.

Math talks are a great way for students to develop mathematical reasoning & communication and develop computational fluency. Students have flexibility to approach problems in multiple ways and are offered different ways to a solution by their classmates during in-class sharing. 

Each student submits one math talk per month for assessment. Check PowerSchool for
your child’s achievement on these tasks.
